Since this is an international forum, I thought I'd ask: I subscribe to the American Beekeeping Journal and Bee Culture. Can any of you recommend publications from other countries--either in English or Russian? I'm interested in an international perspective on the issues.

Maybe these might interest you if you haven't come across them before Lesli:
Apis-UK is a FREE online magazine for the benefit of all beekeepers supported by its readership.
You can sign up on the site to get email notification when a new version is published.

For more international take on things check out the BFDT
site
, they "Provide a free information and advice service to beekeepers in developing countries. No other organisation world-wide, offers this assistance. "
They also publish a quarterly journal, it's a $30 subscription though, but you can download a FREE .pdf copy of it from here:

I found it fascinating.

Spasibo bol'shoe!
Thanks to both of you.
Interesting that the Russian forum has a section called (in transliteration): fleym (flame) not for arguments, as you might expect, for for off-topic discussions. Interesting.
