Mexican Fan Palms are blooming

It is amazing how much stuff you notice when you get bees. The road into our place is surrounded by palm tree farms. I have never seen the Mexican Fan Palms bloom...never noticed. They are blooming today, and I rode my bike down with my binoculars and the Honey Bees are enjoying them.  Don't know if they are mine or not. They are about 1/4- 1/2 mile as the bees fly. One of the Cabbage Palms at the edge of they yard is just putting out new growth...they normally bloom mid June. Guess the girls will have plenty to eat.

Another thing you will start to do is smell the flowers in bloom. Yesterday I was out front and smelled Lugustrom and had to look around to see where it was coming from.
