Hey Bailey,

On the first did you just set the box on the ground and they walked in or did you have to do some scooping?

Are these swarms from your hives?

You are lucky.  X:X

I've been getting swarm traps ready to set out.
I'm using a box made of 3/4 inch plywood that I put a deep frame of cone foundation in.
The boxes are 19 7/8 x 11 1/4 inches and 10 1/2  inches deep and a 1 1/4 hole for an entrance with a guard installed to keep out birds.
I'm using a queen phermone I got from Brushy Mountain Bee Farm and some I'm using Lemon Essence Oil.
The weather is warming up quick around here and I had a friend say he found queen cells in one of his hives.

Beeing new I thought that is how you did it. I am both excited and scared to death to try and do that. Maybe someday I will get a swarm to try it.

You lucky bum!!!
