Betty's bees

This is the one you've all been asking for!

I didn't include the dropping trow part :-D

Scott
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Scott, you need a hair cut.

PS...Good job there.

very nice.  that looked like a long run from the entrance to the top of the hive.  what a sweet lady  :-D  she can be forgiven for dropping her britches.  she certainly wouldn't be the first to have done it!
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

Amazing, you were able to divide yourself in half at 6:08 and later on in the video. Two Scott's removing bees, wish I could do that!  :-D

I miss my Ginsu knife!

That's some strange construction right there brother!

Another great job bro, missed Peggy in this one.

Thanks everyone!

Iddee, I cut my hair every day :-D

Kathy, yes, the entrance was at ground level and the comb was attached 8' up.

TommyT, The last 3-4 removals I've done were just FULL of SHB! I don't know if this was a particularly bad year for them? The bees seem to keep them corralled and under control some how.

JP, I didn't even know I could do that overlay stuff until it just "happened"...cool. Peggy's getting better but still can't do much. I guess the bones won't fully knit for another month or so :'(

You needed a separate bucket with oil just to throw the comb covered with the beetles in.   What a load of honey in there.   The old barn corner, was that a creosote round post holding up the roof?   Good video.

Scott, great video!  Thank you for showing the beetles, I've never seen one outside of still shots.
