Comb Honey
« on: July 03, 2007, 11:54:23 am »
I am often asked: "What should I do with comb honey?"

I answer: chew it like gum, cut it up and use it on a cheese platter, spread it on hot toast, bake it into salmon or sea bass.

But I am sure there are many more answers.  Could you all give us a few more uses?  I am getting tired of hearing myself give the same few answers over and over at the farmers' market.

Tell them that it is best as a treat very intense burst of honey that finishes off by the chewing of the wax when done get rid of wax or continue to chew (the wax has properties that are beneficial to the body)  :loll: I tell them it is old school and for KIDS OF ALL AGES ;) Beware of long winded answers  :) when they line up three deep with money in hand. Enjoy honey the way the bees make it and the way God intended it.
