Title: What dimension(height) do I cut division board?
Post by: twb on April 19, 2008, 10:06:52 am
I am not able to access a hive right at the moment but I want to cut a division board for a medium and for a deep.  What height do I need to make them respectively to allow for the bottom board so it goes from top to bottom of hive?  Thanks much.

You have to cut them to fit.  Every box is slightly different.  A bee can get through 1/6".  They need to go from the botom to the top and from side to side and fill the frame rest.  If you want it bee tight, you might have to use hardware cloth to seal up the edges. or cut grooves for it to go in.
