Salvia tri-colour

I grew this salvia (sage) this year.  It was pretty, but the bees didn't touch it.  Go figure.  Have a beautiful and wonderful day.  Cindi

There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

That is pretty. I have three types of Salvia and none of them look like that. Actually now that I look one is called Speedwell ... the only difference I notice I see is the flowers bloom down instead of up or vice versa. The other two are both Salvia nemorosa, one Blue Hill, and the other East Friesland. The bees were on these more then the catmint they're planted around but not by much.
