Bee Crazy
« on: May 26, 2008, 11:48:41 pm »
Well, after a month of worrying and learning I finally have brood and a queen! She is a big 'un and all nice and golden colored. Unfortunately I had a fight with the focus on my camera and those pics didn't turn out.

But the girls found my clover patch today so I wasted several hours playing around and think I finally have the focus worked out.

Is that one girl waving at me?

Happy Memorial Day.

Jess,
that was freakin awesome. I hate to say it that way now that I am 38 and all but I don't know how else to put it. The pic of your girl waving to you was the best!!!
Congrats on getting that one.

The reincarnation of Maya the bee.
I had never seen a bee frolicking on the flowers in the real world till now.
