New to the group!  I'm glad to have found you all. I have been beekeeping for about 5 years.  Some years were better than others.  This year we have started up six hives and my two sons are helping.  So far, things are humming along.  :)

Hi Cindi,
The boys are 11 and 15.  The 15 year old has been helping me since second grade, so I guess I've been doing this for 8 years now.  Time flies!

Thats really cool that you have sons who are interested, especially the 15 yr old. It seems that around that age kids start doing their own thing.
You sure are right about how time flies. I knew it did but since i got my bees (last summer) I gauge the year different than before i started bees. I waited all year for this last spring to come and now it depresses me to think about fall already fixing to get here :(
Well, anyways, welcome to the forums!. It may have taken you 8 years to find this place, but you did!
