Devastating winter to great spring
« on: May 23, 2013, 07:35:20 pm »
So after all of my hives died this winter I was quite bummed.  But I got to work on more equipment, ordered 8 packages, and two weeks later things are great!  Well not quite two weeks.  More like twelve days.  Either way 100% queen acceptance.  Great laying pattern.  Comb building.  In a week or two, they may be ready for another box at this rate.  Lets see if I can figure out the video.

Also please excuse the typos.  My iPad autocorrect can be brutal.

Crongrats on your recovery !   Keep learning and applying what you learn .  And when you learn something , share it with others so it can help them too .
It takes some of the bite out of what would otherwise been a failure , and makes the successes all the more sweet .  We're real happy for you .

After rereading my post I seemed to make my timeline unclear.  My hives died a couple of months ago but my packages came two weeks ago.  But ya they are all doing well.  Still very busy.
