soon to be a new Beekeeper
« on: February 12, 2014, 08:21:02 am »
Hello from Middle TN.  I attended an intro to beekeeping class with some friends and at the end of the class I won a starter kit... So now I am starting my adventure into BEES!

 :bee: Enjoy beekeeping!
It is highly recommend that split be done with only strong healthy hives that have at least two Brood Chambers with Brood in all stages of development. Frames with capped Brood should be split evenly between the two hives.

Welcome to the forum, Dreyfuss.  If you haven't, join a local bee club and get some bees.  When nothing is happening you can just watch em come and go.  Good luck, its a lot of fun.
