Wacko gun control
« on: February 13, 2014, 10:09:14 am »
It has already started at Dick's Sporting Goods.

When I was ready to pay for my purchases of gun powder and balls for my muzzleloader,
the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me."

Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the gun control
wackos running amok, I did just as she had instructed.

When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out
that she was referring to how I should place my credit card in the
card-reader.

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.

They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer

I still don't think I looked that bad.
"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me . . . Anything can happen, child. Anything can be"

*Shel Silverstein*

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.

My idea of gun control is a firm grip.
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

Nico, I like your sentiments, but you poor folks down under let them take your guns away.

We just hope we've learned from your misfortune.

Good joke, though.

Iddee, I like the 50 grain pellets, just drop 2 or 3 down the barrel and a Sabot.     Bet she changed her instructions after that.
