Title: Want to get into beekeeping in Davis County, Utah

I live in Davis County, Utah, and would like to get into the hobby of beekeeping. I found this website while browsing the internet, and thought there may be someone out there close enough to me that I may be able to learn from them, or just associate with others around me who keep bees!..Thanks!

Hello and Welcome!

While you can learn a great deal here on this forum, nothing beats having a mentor or two. Isn't Davis County near Salt Lake City? Looks like there are a couple of clubs relatively near you:

Welcome to the forums, stay a while, sip some tea with a little honey in it. Chew on some cut comb, just don't swollow any bees in the process. You will love it here, we do bite sometimes but not that hard. like Indy said, clubs are nice.
