Qld Police have just posted a photo on their Facebook Page of an incident that occurred in the Far Northern Region.
It involved an accident with a car towing a trailer load of bees with an interesting caption.

At leat the hives were all strapped together!
I occasionally transport bees inside the car and my worst nightmare is somthing like that happening.

There has to be some universal cuteness gene that causes reporters to pile every imaginable pun into any story about bees. The officer probably got stung while putting up the ridiculous little black and white tape right on top of the hives.
