Hello everyone,
Been checking out the forum for awhile and thought I would join.  I don't have bees yet but hopefully next spring will be able to get my first hive going. Sure is lots of good info on here.  Catching a swarm sounds way cool, props to all those who have done it.  Anyway, in the meanwhile, I'll be deciding what kind of hives to get, rounding up equipment etc.-------Todd

Buzzen, welcome to our forum, great you found us.  You have quite a long time to study about the bees, to prepare for them, that is a good thing.  The more that you learn about the bees, the more that you will want to know.  Stick around.  We can help you along your journey for knowledge.  Have that wonderful and awesome day, health, Cindi

Welcome to a fellow Idaho beekeeper, or future beek.  SE Id must mean the Poky area.  Keep in touch and I'll share whatever information I can from my experiences up North.

Welcome Todd.
I did the same thing you are right now. I spent the past year researching beekeeping and gathering my equipment together and I just got my first bees a couple of weeks ago.
You will learn alot here and be more confident when the time comes for you to get your bees.
Ask questions and spend some time going through past threads and you will have have more information than you know what to do with. :)
