Last Sat I pick up a double nuc that was part of the Ohio Queen Program. From one of the people that help put it on. Sun day When I finely opened it up I saw what I think was two of them.::eek:mad: Very few bees on the one side. Yesterday I re opend it up looking for beetles The one side no bees no beetles. The other side bees but didn't any see larvae. No Beatles. I admitted that I have a hard time seeing larvae. so we will see. Did order traps should bee here in a day or so.

I bought a nuc about a month ago in South Jersey. When transferring the frames to a new super I saw two SHBs. I guess they're everywhere now. The bees seem to keep them under control. I also have a trap, but haven't used it yet.
