Makes me wonder if he's any relation to Rube Goldberg.   Solar Wax Melter is simpler and doesn't require a power source.

I agree with the solar melted.  And the sun will beach your wax out a little too.

but thats not the idea, the whole purpose of this post is to look what others are trying and it worked, it was not meant to convert people over to steam, wait till they build a nuclear wax melter, then the sun want be needed  :-P  , but thats what we need is people trying different thing, might lead to something better.

  I do mine the old fashion way, large pot on stove with very hot water  ;) and slide a plastic ice tray into a pair of panty hose, poor through panty hose (filter) and end up with clean cubed wax, pops right out when cooled  :-D

I forgot for certain, but you need to pose that question to Joe Namath,   :shock:  if I remember correctly he was the one you really need to ask { in a real nice way }  ;)

 And in years long past, I used to use them as a prefilter on my VW powered sandrails. They also had to be color matched.
