No, stuff doesn't really flower here in the winters.  Maybe some crocus in Feb. or a few protected pansies.  First real sign of spring is when the forsythia bursts out.  Average low temp is below freezing most nights Dec. through mid to late Feb.  Almost every day in January has an all time record low below zero.  Lowest all-time low temp was -17 in February back around the turn of the last century. 

No winter honey flow that I am aware of.  A big bkeep here locally told me recently to make sure my honey supers were off by state fair time (which starts this weekend) cause there is some skunk weed around this time of year that produces some awful honey.
