I've been asked to be the guest on a Blog Talk Radio show on Wednesday the 22nd (this Wednesday) at 5:30 PM EDT.
It's an hour of talking with the hosts about beekeeping - just wanted to let you all know in case anyone wants to listen in or call in. Here's the webpage:

I'm so bummed I am going to miss this because I will be at work at that time. Oh gosh there must be a way to listen in again later on??
I wish you so much luck Linda and I bet you will do great.
Love

Actually after it's over it should be archived at that address for some time afterwards so you could go to hear it - who knows, I'm great at tripping all over myself so we'll see if I make sense or not! Someone wrote on a blog comment that they had downloaded it on ITunes and listened to it that way - boy the world is technologically sophisticated!

Just follow the link Annette and you will hear it all.
Good stuff Linda. Well done.

Thank you, Geoff - I had fun - the hosts were completely bee-innocent so it was fun to talk about beekeeping. I had a good time!

Linda:
What a jam packed show you did, very well done, every minute of it!!! Often when non-beekeeps get off topic it is hard to get back on, you just rolled with it and fired right back on topic, you said a lot of great stuff, being a wonderful speaker for the honeybees. Truely, exellent work!

NOW will you come on ventrilo??
good job and good for you for being such a great spokesman for our hobby! TV is next!
-
NOW will you come on ventrilo?? I hope so

There you all go, always wanting more and more!! (Just kidding)
I have been away all week, but I will listen in tonight. (at work now)

I just got through listening to the show and it was extraordinary Linda. I just love how sweetly you express yourself and how knowledgable you are. I even learned some new things tonight from you.
You were so calm and able to make the art of beekeeping so understandable. You truly are a great teacher. Gosh I wish you had a weekly bee talk show where people can call in and ask questions.
Thanks Linda for letting us into your world also. You sound like a very busy women with all you do all day. Job, family, bees, etc.
Sincerely
Annette

Gosh, Annette, thanks and thanks for taking the time to go and listen.
It always amazes me how many people are scared of bees and what bees mean in their assumptions. So it's fun to have the opportunity to dispel some of that.

I'm listening to it now, two women yakking. So far, I've learned the show is dedicated to Rocky the labrador retriever.
Ok, now they are talking about Linda! Building you up Linda, woo woo! Here you come, Linda is introduced.
Bees are really happy little creatures, unlike yellowjackets...
Gonna listen some more, way to go Linda!

So I just learned that Linda started keeping bees because her daughters would not babysit chickens! :-D
You are definitely on track with your thought processes as I could tell if you let her, the host would deviate from the topic of bees and go right to something else!
Ok, continuing to listen, so far so good, Linda, bravo!

Ok, Linda I listened to the whole thing. You were very good on there Linda. I appreciate the fact that you are humble and don't claim to have all the answers when it comes to bees, just a regular person sharing your experiences with others so they can learn with you, on your journey.
I can definitely tell you are in love with the honeybee. Great job Linda!

Gosh, JP, I'm honored both that you listened and kept up a written commentary! I did not think they were ever going to get to me - they did all that chat stuff at the beginning, but once we got onto bees, it was pretty easy to stay there.
Thanks for the nice support,
