Them bees been eating blue moon icecream??  :-D

How green is it?  We get somewhat green-tinged honey, sometime for us it would be the linden tree.  Is yours green-tinged or full-out grinch-green?

I dunno, is the wax green perhaps or is it green once extracted? Only way it can be green honey is if it is contaminated with something. Plaintain has green pollen at certain stages but I dont think any plant we have here would make green honey.

I have seen plants in Vic that have purple pollen that may turn the honey green.. ie the mixing of blue (blue and red) and golden (yellow and red)

But the truth is I have no clue

YV,

Are you any closer in figuring out why your honey is green? This is intriguing!

Hi, nah, haven't figured it out yet. I'll know when I ask the other beekeepers in the area. If not someone will know at the meeting in a couple of weeks. I like the idea of Irish honey though :P.

Chao,
James.
