Post by: Kirk-o on February 10, 2008, 06:24:55 pm
Spring time is hear man The peach trees are blooming.I went through my Arizona hive today I opened up the brood nest I put 11 frames of drawn comb in and removed 11 frames of honey. Many bees I hope I did it soon enough. There is four mediums and one deep 50,000 bees probably.I set out 3 swarm traps with some lures I got from a guy on Beesource.Looks like a good year also.Last year 3.23 inches of rain this year already at 10 looks like lots of flowers comming.
Hurray

What is your method of removing the honey?

How cool that you got bees from Lusby's...did you have to drive to Arizona?  I would almost be willing to do that, but getting the bees back home would be tough!  I miss Charles..
