Alexandria VA, near DC. Do you think this is normal for the season and area?

I would think so. Here in north Georgia, we have not gotten any rain to count this month and they have be in dearth since August 1. Maybe somebody near you will chime in.

Poor guys. It almost makes you feel sorry for them - but I guess they did have a good life while it lasted.
