Man mowing his yard and nearly ran over them. All piled on the ground in 10 inch high grass. I set the box down and watched them march in. Not much story to tell. Next thread more exiting.

I removed some bees in Harahan, Louisiana about four years ago in an abandoned blue raised house.

The hive had thrown off a swarm in the neighbor's yard, they too were in a big wad right in the grass, but the neighbor and I hadn't met yet and he didn't know what to do so their outcome was not good.

I think about that one to this day, if only I could run across one like that again.
