Welcome to the forum, this is a great place to find answers to a lot of the quesitons you'll have as someone looking into Beekeeping.  Have you checked into a local bee club or found anyone that can serve as a mentor?

Hello yourself. I am getting started next spring also. Maybe we could exchange observations on our hives. Good luck.

Im located near Tishomingo County... I cant seem to find any bee keepers near me in MS, but have found a person in TN. That might help me. TN is not far from my location.
It sure would make things easer to have a Bee Keeper nearby to learn from...
It may be seat of the pants for me.

Welcome to the forum   :cheer:

Ask as many questions as you like, we enjoy helping fellow beeks. Right now, read what you can even look on youtube.com to watch others do their thing. Warning, some youtubers are there so they can say they did it, and maybe not the best way. When in doubt come back here and ask, we will watch the clip and give you our comments.  -Mike
