I own and operate http://www.beefjerky.com since 1995.

One flavor is my own recipe that I've been making since 1980.

Its so good, its flown to space 5 times with astronauts & cosmonauts.

There is a photo posted of it on the space station, in front of the window with the Earth below here:

I was a claims adjuster for 7 years before I fired the boss and started Windshield Wizards.  Now I repair chips, cracks and scratches in glass.  I also bought a pinstriping company about 10 years ago and have striped about 50,000 cars--everything from Aston Martins to Hyundais.  I also play lead guitar, harmonica and sing in a classic rock band-- "Iron Outlaw".  You can see some clips of my band on youtube.  (Plug in "kedgel" in the search field.)  I'm from TN, so I have been known to pick a little bluegrass, too.  In fact, I'm playing a benefit next week doing some "pickin' & grinnin'"  :-D

I write for and teach English literature at the University of Cincinnati. For even more fun (more fun than work, not more fun than bees), I ride a bicycle and fiddle around with two vintage Vespa scooters.

I don't have an official title, but I Multi-Task for an Oil, Gas, & Chemicals Company. We Verify, Certify and Analyze Petroleum Commodities before and after transactions between our Clients. I am pretty much involved in most functions in the company including the Retention and Disposal of thousands of samples, shipping and receiving of dangerous goods, calibration of instruments, equipping and maintaining of instruments for my field inspectors, travel to refineries for custody transfers of samples, also, I am Mr. Fixit around here too ! No matter what breaks or goes wrong, I get the call

I certify the materials we use on our Highway construction projects for the Department of Transportation in Minnesota. I sing quite a bit when I'm not working or spending time with my wife and three sons. They say I'm addicted to the reading about or doing things with the bees.

Corn breeder for a seed company devloping new hybrids for farmers.  Besides bees, I garden and biclycle but mostly spend time with my 5 year old daughter that we adopted from foster care when she was 1.  Since I am 60 and have grandchildren older than my daughter, I have some challenging days:)  We get some interesting looks when she tells people that she is our 6 year old granddaughter's "aunt"!

I didn't realize the way this thread would take off!   With the resources listed here seems there would be no problem one would have that others couldn't help or give advice on!  Talk about a way to bring people together, this is really cool.

Medical oncologist and hematologist.  Beekeeping is a great diversion.  Just glad bees don't get cancer.
