Where to buy a Honey Display?
« on: December 29, 2009, 07:01:00 pm »
I had a local store owner approach me about selling honey in his store.  He wanted me to provide the display the honey so he could just give me floor space.

I thought there would be pre made honey displays at BM, ML or Daedant but I see none.

Where could I buy such a display?

This is the best idea I can come up with.

Hopefully you know or have a friend who knows a graphic artist who can whip up a nice poster for you.  Presentation and catch phrases like health benefits and value must be stressed.

Good luck.

I don't think a cardboard display will hold much honey, especially in glass.
The graphics idea is great though.

I would try to find a carpenter buddy to build a display out of plywood. Find out how big of a footprint the store will allow you to have and design from there. A back lite display will brighten up the honey fora more appealing product (if there is power at the display site).

Good luck with it and let us know what you come up with.

Presentation and catch phrases like health benefits and value must be stressed.

by law, you cannot make health claims about honey when you are selling it...i assume this would apply to a store display as much as the label itself.  a list of allowed health claims can be found here:

That may be true but that does not stop you from saying FAT FREE and such.  My aunt uses honey on her salad instead of full of fat dressing.
