This is obviously your fault If you will check your specs under general conditions, you will see that it is the contractors responsibility to report all errors and inconsistencies to the architect 7 days prior to bid time. failure to do so implies acceptance and the contractor accepts responsibility.

Always remember. the architect is never wrong. I does not matter what he drew or wrote. it only matters what he wanted it to look like when its done. and it's not his problem that you don't understand what he was thinking 2 years ago when he drew it. after all He's an ARCHITECT and we're only contractors
