Apologies for having been AWOL for a while - there's been a few things which have kept me away for a few months and, sadly, kept me away from the bees as well - I just wanted to jump on and say g'day. How did your season go? I haven't checked my girls since January when I had them on some good Red Gum around Melbourne - they're still two boxes high with excluders on them but it's gotten so cold that I would probably do more damage than good trying to take the excluders off to let them go in to the top box. Any prospects out there for the next season? an old timer told me the other day that the Yellow Gum & Messmate are looking pretty good so far... he's not sure the Yellow Gum will last in to spring though
