Post by: TwT on January 08, 2006, 01:12:31 am
What A Deal,,,, I got a offer the other week and it was from a guy that use to have hunting land here in my county but he lost the lease ( he lives up in the mountains about 4 hour drive north). well I told him I would help find some land around here so he could put him a breeder yard and a bunch of nuc's, he sales about 500 queens a year, he will get about a month's head start down here from his place. He went to Sue Coby's classes on queen rearing a few time's. he said he will teach me what he knows about queen rearing ( grafting, AI, and II) for helping him plus I can keep a eye on his hives and do odds and ends like mowing around them and inspections ect.. he also told me he would keep me supplied with some queens, he has queens from Sue, (NWC's). looks like im getting ready to do me some learning. wish me luck.

Ted,
Sounds like you already have had a great deal of luck. To be able to get in on a deal like this is SWEET!
