Hi all,
I am crushing and straining and I wanted to know what people who do this, what do youfor the final strain to take the fine particles out of the honey?

I do this on removal hives (wild comb), I strain it throw pantie-hoes ( the good kind) well thats what my wife says..... then pour the honey throw a bucket filter, this is it http://www.brushymountainbeefarm.com/products.asp?pcode=833

Donn,
I crush the comb & let the honey drizzle through a strainer into a pot, then put the top back on. Over approximately 3 days the little bit of comb, etc... is skimmed off the top each day untill the honey is clean. This works well for me.

I like to just run it through regular window screen and leave the fine particals.  Most of my customers want "raw unfiltered" honey.  You can skim it off the top with a piece of saran wrap after it settles.
