If you remove cocoons for whatever the reason, do you always put them back in tubes?
Instead of putting cocoons back in tubes, has anyone just stored them and then placed them out when ready, like in a cardboard box, or a plate?
Thank you.

The reading I've done says to keep them in the tubes. When released from a box you apparently get more females that venture out instead of nesting near where they emerged.
