Thanks, that we debated about temp measuring. I found an infrared thermometer pistol. With that I may follow the temperature of honey extracting process.
Price is not much about 30$
Pistol sends a laser spot and measures the temp from the spot

Could be useful for a number of things.
I wonder if it is sensitive enough to locate the cluster in a winter hive?

I use one to locate the brood chamber in the wall of a house when doing a cut out.
