I ran restuarants for 14 years after retiring from law enforcement so I know my way around a kitchen.

If you one on one tutoring give me a holler, I'll show you close up and personal what goes on inside the hive.

Chef Isaac, welcome to our forum, so nice that you have found us.  So, tell me, where do you know everyone from, it sounds like you know many of our forum friends here?  I need to know, gotta satisfy that curious side of me.  This will be the place where you can spend lots of great, quality time, a place to tell your tales, stories and experiences, and make lots more new friends.

About the barbeque.  Yes, we had a great one at Brian Bray's, the last day of August last fall.  Only a few of our beekeeper friends showed up, but it was fun.  We may be planning another one at Brian's place this year.  It seems that there are more and more beekeepers joining our forum that live in the PNW.  You could be our great chef for our great barbeque there, that would be cool.  Bet you could whomp up some pretty good food.   I could bring a couple of Muscovy ducks we raise for you to do something wonderfully yummy with.  Anyways, lots of food for thought (hee, hee, get that pun, hee, hee....).  Have a wonderful and most awesome life, live and love life, great health wishes to us all.  Cindi

Welcome Chef!  Its funny, for the longest time I thought you were some kind of an american indian jew or something, it took a while before I realized that it was Chef, not Chief!!

Cindi, he's got a dual membership here and at bee$0urce, like many of us here (not bjorn).  Yup, much tamer here.  :-D

Trust me, BjornBee is like a new man here! :-P

Yeah, the BBQ turned into a real taste test, Muscovy duck, pigeon, rock crab, etc, there was hardly room for the more traditional hamburgers and hotdogs.  I even showed Cindi how to improve her world famous (at our BBQ anyway) potato salad.  the bummer was that the musically inclined had to opt out at the last minute due to family emergencies so I didn't get to preform the old Vaudeville act, "You can't fool and old Horsefly.".
