New package on drawn comb
« on: March 09, 2011, 12:58:57 pm »
So some will remember that all my bees died this Winter.  I ordered a package just in case my swarm season comes up bupkis.  I will be able to hive them on all drawn comb.  Would it be better to introduce her in the cage she comes in, or would it give them a faster start to put her and her attendants on the comb surface using a push in cage?

I've never had an issue just using the cage she comes in.

Just use the cage she comes in.  Poke a hole in the candy with a nail and they will have her out of there in no time.
