Walter T Kelly 3/6 frame extractor

I was lucky enough to acquire an older version of this extractor over the weekend.  Its galvanized steel but there are no signs of rust.  Should I plan on painting over the interior using Camcote or are we good to go as soon as we've washed the dust off?

The only difference between th galvanized steel and the stainless steel is a change in the health code from the USDA.  If it is rust free it can still be used as is, but if you prefer, just because, you could paint in inside with camcote.

There's no rust at all so I'll use as is this year and consider refinishing over the winter.
