Title: Hello form deepest, darkest Somerset in the UK
Post by: thatmanfez on June 22, 2011, 06:39:45 pm
Hi everyone,

I'm Fez and I hark from the UK. I'm a 40 year old serving member of the British Armed Forces. I've always been fascinated by bees but have never been in a position to have any - until now... I acquired my first colony two months ago (in a national hive) and have since successfully done a 'walk away' split into a home built top bar. I hope to collect another colony from a shed this weekend (assuming they aren't wasps like the last wild colony I got word of!)

I live with my (very soon to be) wife Debs, and our four kids on a very small holding in a very rural part of a very rural county - it's a real pity I have to go to work during the day to pay the bills!

I hope to learn a lot and chat more...

yours aye

Fez
