Almost a newbee from Minnesota
« on: February 27, 2011, 04:56:39 pm »
Hi all,
Im from Minnesota. I live in the country and have chickens for eggs. I love to hunt and fish and be outside with nature.
Im muddeling forward in beekeeping. Ordering bees in march. Joined a local beekeeping association. Attending a bee seminar this week and reading whatever I can. Boy, it seems the more I read the more confused I get. I think it should all settle into my head eventually. Im  excited but a bit nervous too .
Hope I posted this correctly.

Welcome Stella. There is a lot of information in this forum, and plenty of people who would love to help.  Where in Central Minnesota do you live?

Good luck Stella, from one women beekeeper to another. I am in California and have been keeping bees since 2006. There is so much to learn here on this forum and you will get all the help you need.

Just stay in touch

Hello Stella - Welcome to the forum.

It's nice to see a few Minnesota bee keepers signing in. Good luck with the bees.

Very cool! Are you a member of the Tri-County Beekeepers Association? I just ordered two packages there last night. I lost another hive in the last week so had to order replacements.
