MinoanBee my beekeeping blog

The following link drives to my personal beekkeping blog
http://minoanbee.blogspot.gr/

I named it MinoanBee because my bee yard is near in the ancient Minoan city of Knosos. The Minoan civilization was the first European civilization.  They had intense commercial activity in the Mediterranean and exchanged products with other peoples. The Minoans were been great beekeepers and they had the first beehive with movable frames. That beehive is named vraski and was used in the central and west Crete. I have one replica Vraski and I'm going to install next spring a new colony.

As an ex-graphic designer I designed the logo of my blog.
