Title: Less SHB in colonies up 2-3 stories than ones on ground ?
Post by: Maryland Beekeeper on November 13, 2012, 08:40:03 pm
Would be curious to hear others experience. I only did a dozen or so cutouts this year, but it seemed that the higher the nest the healthier all around. Also seemed that city colonies were stronger and healthier than ones in suburbs.
Cheers,
Drew

My hives on my rear porch have them same as the ones out in the woods.
