Title: Chickens and Collards
Post by: TenshiB on September 02, 2013, 11:51:18 pm
Last year our chickens found out that they LOVE collards, rutabagas, brussels sprouts, and broccoli.. They MOW the leaves down any time we turn our backs. They aren't too keen on mustard or turnip greens.. ANYway, my question is this:  is there a simple way to keep the free range hens out of the garden? A fence is the obvious answer..

We have never found any other way than a barrier of some sort.  Yes, a fence would seem to be the answer.
