This bouquet close-up highlights three ceramic honeybees. They are not intended to look real, instead they are to show off the flowers.  I took this using 3X zoom - 2ft away, f4, 1/150 shutter and flash.
Beautiful trumpet flowers are great for catching photos of hummingbirds. Only problem, it was way to late in the day to capture the birds. 1X zoom, f4.0 1/125 shutter.
The berries on this tree were subtle and needed to be shot. It was tough getting a balanced focus and proper lighting without flash, but I enjoyed the challenge. f2.8 1/60 shutter.

Photography is smoke and mirrors sometimes. Here I placed this flower in our mailbox and made the effort to tease the viewer with some background. 1X f2.8 1/125 shutter.
Here is Fluffy again, sorry but She has a real following and many people ask for more Fluffy photos. A white cat and flash make for fun photography. 1X zoom f6 1/125 shutter, flash.
I've Don't have a large collection of hi-res honeybee photos yet, but I made a good effort to give you a selection. I love the wing detail here.  3X f4 1/250 shutter.
Bouquets offer a thousand chances to get a good photo. I like to fly over the flowers, searching for any great photo op.. 1X f4.0 1/125 shutter - flash.
I offer this simple flower captured in great detail. This was interesting to me, because it was ordinary, but the fence gives it freedom. 1X f4.0 1/500 shutter.
Here is a pumpkin flower from the only pumpkin plant we have at the building where I work. It dosen't seem as if we'll get any pumpkins though, we barely get flowers. 1X f4 1/250 shutter.
AHere is a great collection of flowers to brighten up your desktop. I took this photo with a long shutter time, to enrich the colors and avoid using a flash. 1X f5.6 1.5 sec. shutter.
Mom's peachpie was cooling on the back porch and it looked great. I couldn't see diving into this wonderful treat without first capturing it for all to see.. 2X f2.8 1/250 shutter - flash.
The last of the bouquet photos. I try here to give the impression that the camera is climbing over the flowers and following the honeybee. 3X f8 1/60 shutter.
